Teacher Program Manager, Goodstart Early Learning
Helen Wolfe has a keen interest in educational leadership and its role within early childhood settings, having recently finished a Master’s degree on the topic at Macquarie University.
Helen works at Goodstart Early Learning as a teacher program manager, having previously worked at Goodstart as an early childhood teacher for more than 12 years. She is also a mother to an active nine-year-old boy.
Helen’s role as a teacher program manager involves supporting teachers at Goodstart in a range of ways including: facilitating a teacher mentor program, teacher registration support, professional development opportunities, relationships with universities, the pedagogy of working with 3-5 year olds and assisting with attraction and retention strategies. While working as a teacher, Helen was a big advocate for sustainability both within an early childhood environment, but also in the wider community.
Previous to working in education, Helen worked as a librarian while also completing a media degree.
