G’day Little Queenslanders - Good Choices Survey Competition – Terms and Conditions
The promoter is Goodstart Early Learning Ltd ABN 69 139 967 794 of 43 Metroplex Avenue, Murarrie QLD 4172, telephone 1800 222 543 (“Promoter”).
Information on how to participate in this promotion forms part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
If there is any inconsistency between these Terms and Conditions and any other information published regarding this promotion, these Terms and Conditions will prevail.
Who can participate
- Entry is open to Australian residents aged 18 years and over who attend the G’day Little Queenslanders event at Rocks Riverside Park, 531 Seventeen-Mile Rocks Road, Seventeen Mile Rocks during the Promotion Period.
- Employees of the Promoter directly involved in the administration of the promotion, and their immediate family members, are not eligible to enter.
Promotion Period
The promotion commences at 9.00am on Sunday 23 August 2026 and closes at 3.00pm on Sunday 23 August 2026 (“Promotion Period”). Entries received outside the Promotion Period will not be eligible.
How to enter
To enter the promotion, eligible participants must, during the Promotion Period:
- Complete and submit the Good Choices survey via the QR code provided by the Promoter;
- Provide valid contact details so the Promoter can contact them if they are selected as the winner; and
- Follow First Five Years on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/first5yrs) and Instagram (https://www.instagram.com/_firstfiveyears/).
Only one entry per person will be accepted.
No purchase or payment is required to enter.
Incomplete, illegible or invalid entries may be deemed ineligible at the Promoter’s discretion.
Prize
- There is one (1) prize available consisting of an MTA (Modern Teaching Aids Pty Ltd) early learning resources pack valued at $500 AUD which will include:

CBCA Early Childhood 2025 Shortlist Award Pack
- If the prize (or any part of the prize) isn’t available at time of issuing the prize to the winner, the Promoter may substitute the prize or any part of the prize with another item of equal value as determined by the Promoter.
- The total prize pool is valued at $500 AUD.
- The prize is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
- The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the value of the prize.
Winner selection
One eligible winner will be selected at random from all valid entries received during the Promotion Period. The draw will take place on Monday 24 August 2026. The winner will be contacted using the telephone number provided as part of their survey entry. The Promoter may also contact the winner by email where an email address has been provided.
Unclaimed prize
The Promoter will make reasonable attempts to contact the selected winner.
If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within seven (7) days of the Promoter's first attempt to contact them, the winner will forfeit the prize and another eligible winner will be selected at random. The replacement winner will be contacted using the contact details provided with their entry.
Prize delivery
The prize will be delivered to an Australian residential address nominated by the winner. The winner is responsible for providing accurate delivery information. The Promoter is not responsible for delays or loss arising from incorrect delivery information supplied by the winner.
Privacy
The Promoter collects personal information from participants for the purpose of conducting and administering this promotion, including contacting the winner and arranging delivery of the prize.
Personal information provided by participants in the promotion will be collected, handled and used in accordance with the Promoter’s Privacy Policy.
The Promoter may publish or share survey response data provided by participants in the promotion. This data will be de-identified and will not contain any personal information provided by participants.
Participants may also separately choose to receive relevant information, articles and updates from First Five Years. Receiving marketing communications is optional and is not a condition of entering the promotion. Participants who opt in may unsubscribe from these communications at any time.
Social media
This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook, Instagram or Meta. Participants acknowledge that they are providing their information to the Promoter and not to Facebook, Instagram or Meta.
By participating in the promotion, participants agree to fully release and hold Meta harmless from liability to the extent permitted by law.
Verification
The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and entrants and to disqualify any entrant who does not comply with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process.
Further conditions
If this promotion is interfered with or cannot be conducted as reasonably anticipated due to circumstances beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right, subject to any applicable law, to cancel, suspend, modify or terminate the promotion.
To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter disclaims all warranties and representations of any kind as to the safety, condition, quality, fitness for purpose, or suitability of the prize.
Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, including statutory consumer guarantees under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), the Promoter excludes liability for any loss, damage or injury suffered as a result of participating in the promotion or accepting or using the prize.
This promotion is governed by and shall be construed in accordance with the laws of Queensland, Australia. All participants consent to the jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland, Australia.
